I'd appreciate it if whoever I leant my Hercules to would send it back. It's a been a good few weeks now and you've fallen off the radar entirely.
Yes I've deleted my PM's so I've forgotten who I've sent it to. Don't make me dig though my postage receipts looking for the address from the delivery. I've just submitted them all to my accountant and it'll be a pain in ass getting them back.
It must be a Southerner, any decent northern type would have stayed in touch. ;-)

Quite right, did the same with an Oyaide tone arm cable moons ago, luckily the chap who had it contacted me asking for another as he did not realize I had put it in the box with his tone arm!

I might, if I knew what a Hercules was. :mental:

I think that Martin's response was to do with the fact that he was a Southerner! ;)
Marco.

I wonder how long I'll have to keep this at the top before the recipient owns up to having it? Is he really going to make me drive to my accountants to get all my postal receipts back to check who he is?
Has he no shame?

Perhaps he hasn't logged onto the forum as yet today? ;)
E2A:- More to the point are you sure that you lent it out to someone on AoS? As far as I'm aware you are a member of other fora & appear to have more posts elsewhere
What will you do if he doesn't own up sq? Will you tell teacher?
I entirely sympathise sq, I once lent a couple of items to a chap - he kept them for so long it got to the point that I genuinely thought I would never see them again!
No good turn goes unpunished. Its a funny how we are all different: I personally wouldnt want sq on my tail.....

It's the horse that pulls the Rag and Bone man's cart innit?

No, I'll grab my receipts from my just submitted accounts and find out where the bastard lives and then home in on him on the forum via a combination of LP12 ownership, postcode and the fact i've written his fucking name at the top of the courier form.
Maybe he just hasn't logged in yet as Mark says
Hi Simon,
If you get his username, I'll provide you with his contact details from our internal info :)

Thanks Marco, I'm sure he'll see the thread before too long.
I lent a Marantz amp to a mate as a stop gap when his Audiolab packed in. A nice Marantz too, copper colour with VU meters. That was in 1993; he still hasn't replaced the Audiolab.
...via a combination of LP12 ownership, ...
Is it a power supply or something?

I confess it's me !
As you found out last night I hope
Time and working around this forum stopped me seeing this
I'm going to have another go at making it work tomorrow
Then either I find my tester or bring it to work and ask a friendly Xerox engineer to test the output
I really want to try it and *really* appreciate the tryout. I always assume its me doing it wrong but I'm fairly sure this doesn't send out power.
Anyone near Chobham or Shepperton able to look at it ?
Mike
