Have any of you tried this?
At least those of you who play 78s/ early LPs and have some sort of re- equalisation (How many of you do by the way?).
I recently bought at a vinyl fair near here a couple of 1970s re-recordings of 1940s big band dance music (my bag) &, based on the fact that they were obviously remastered for RIAA played them on that.
B for boring!
Tried fiddling with the re-equaliser and got much more positive sound for this particular disc at -5db HF cut & +375 LF boost.
Sounds great!
