Hello everybody
So glad hi fi didn't die, when music centers came in. (but i can no longrt hear all the high notes)
Although I don't understand much of the technical , as a old wireman I still like to have a dabble as I still have all of my Linstroms etc.
My problem is, in m younger days seams like all the kide were building little valve radios and amps, we all influenced by the guys who were building sound system amplifiers in their back yard, one fellow built a amp with 40 gec kt88s there was very strong competition.
My personnel gear: I have a few bits knocking including an old Beard p100 ( I can no longer move it) with 505 pre. but I am satisfied fo the time being with Leak stereo 20 with a Croft Micro. the latter I am trying to make into the super mk3 (more another time).
music ? very varied, old proper rhythm & blues, bluegrass, reggae, jazz, tristan and isolde prelude, cajun, ,country , ,etc, but not too much radio type pop
in contradiction of some above I also connect sometimes my creative touch ipod.
Heresy I hear you cry
forgot mention speakers BW CM1 Speaker and small Halbeath bbc monitors.

apologize in advance for my many (i try) punctuation and paragrafical mistakes too old to learn grammar now
