I'm selling this for a friend. I've been borrowing it as a blueray player for the last year or so, before that it was boxed and never used. I was the first to take it out of the box.

Updated with latest firmware, BBC iPlayer, 4oD, ITV player etc.

Never actually been used for gaming!!!

The original PS3 can be used to rip SACDs to a HDD, but only if they haven't had a firmware update ;)

LOL.. I would have had to add to the price though if that was the case.

I've heard you can get a hack for it... not really looked in to it though.

I dont suppose you know whether it plays .avi files from usb do you? I'm thinking of upgrading to a Blu ray player, Is it comparable with quality to a normal player?

Yep, it plays AVI and most other formats, in fact I think all others with the last few updates.

Plays avi from usb, cd, dvd as well as it's HDD.
