audio engine a5+

has anyone got any experience of these speakers, i'm thinking of getting a pair for the bedroom, they seem like a neat solution for the boudoir. i can use my ipone to control itunes on the pooter, so minimum spaghetti and maximum waf.

I've got the A2's for my office system (got the A5's but sent them back as they were a bit too boomy)

The A2's are amazing & with bags of power. Powered via my iMAC and sat at either end of my desk; they can full the upstairs of the house with plenty of sound with ease and love to be driven hard :D

The A5's on stands sounded great but on the desk or bookshelves they sounded too boomy and boxy (I think mainly to their size and weight etc...). The A2's are much better suited to being on a flat surface or on shelves IMO
