Well have taken the transport to the dealers for shipping back to Cyrus today - exactly 2 years to the day since I bought it. Already been back once last year.
problem is all to frequent track skipping - now happening on virtually every disc. It's not the CD's as when I replay to the exact spot of previous skipping 99.99% of times it plays fine :eyebrows:
Looking on other forums it seems this is a well know problem with this unit (pity it wasnt so well known to me before I bought it - it wasn't cheap).
Oh well - just have to use the very excellent Wadia 170i (Audiocomm signature upgrade) instead so no hardship :) In fact, I may well take the opportunity to move the CD XT se (and partnering PSxR) on when it's fresh back from it's Cyrus service.
Anyone else have a CD XT se with similar probs?
Steve
