I see that some are gettinggood results with these. I think they are about £99.

The USB sound card must have the CM108 chip for the Elektor mods
The USB card is Plug and Play. No drivers required for Windows 98SE / ME / 2000 / XP / Server 2003 / Vista/Win7, Linux, MacOS
sounds fine to my ears.
