My post count has stalled. Seem to remember that it did this before. I am keen to get to 3,000:D

OR maybe not? I had 3 at 2,764 and yet this one is 2,765?

Hmm... say something else Rob. 2,766 next?

2,767 :)

It might have been a caching issue at your end, where your browser stores the value and for whatever reason doesn't update itself from the server...

If you do have worries post again and I'll keep an eye on it. In extremis I can recalculate all post counts, but it's normally only necessary if we do heavy housekeeping and need to update counts downwards :)

My post count has gone down since I've just had had two entire threads deleted :(

Mind you, on pfm I've lost 1500 posts in their recent purge!

Ah well, doesn't matter - it's only Internet waffle in the end.

Worry not, Mark. They're only 'in limbo' (soft-deleted)... If we sort things out with Google, all will be back to normal soon! :)

Marco.

Ah, I see, best of luck with that - they are reputed to be a touch intransigent on such matters (though I have no direct experience).

I would have deleted the threads too.

Actually, I was using Google yesterday and looking for some specific information about cartridge loading. One of the options pulled up was one of the very threads of mine that has been soft deleted. I was surprised to see it and when I clicked on it it didn't go anywhere; but the Google search engine still thought it existed!

Their search engine obviously caches links for a while. Decisions re. Adsense compliance are human verified apparently. Hopefully their 'appeals' process does involve some sentient review, it should be pretty clear what this site's raison d'etre is, and it's not copyright infringement.

Yes, that was my thought; best of luck with the appeal (and the same to Tony of course).
