View Full Version : My Place
A few pics taken right after renovating our house at the end of 2010. This were shoot for some magazine, so the place looks lifeless clean here. In reality there are allot more things in our house, like my SL1210 sitting next to the TV, carpets behind sofa, blankets over sofa, usual everyday stuff laying around, etc :)

Broken images dude
:stalks: looks like the chill out zone in a top club - no wonder you had a magazine come around to photograph it. Amazing.

Very modern and stylish - good job, wish I was a millionaire
BTW - Love the look of the 1210MK5G with the Mike New Platter. What difference did you notice with the new platter ??

Since this was custom built, it was actually cheaper than buying furniture from store. My brother in law is a naval designer, so the design project was free
Yea, Mike New platter looks (and sound) true old-style heavy TT platter. When comparing it to stock platter its like night & day, but the biggest difference is how it portrays bass and really low frequencies. I listen to allot of electronic music and every time I'm amazed how some of my best pressed vinyl sounds. Also noise floor is lowered allot compared to stock platter, that I would give credit to combination of heavy platter and lightweight SME V arm.
Very Bling, I like it
thanks, actually pictures are exaggerating the bling factor here, its much more clam down really :)

Ha thanks buddy, you've been to my country then, next time around gimme a ring and I'll show you much nicer things than postojna

EDIT: Ah, I see them now. Very .... bright!
Nice one Patrick, I even recognize the place, or at least i think i do :)
Strange that pics are not showing it for you.
Viva Las Vegas... very nice:eyebrows:
L-I-L-A-C!!!! :stalks::stalks::stalks:
No curtains though! :(
;)
It just needs a polar bear :)
But AT LAST - a lifestyle shoot that includes loudspeaker cables with the loudspeakers. Unlike other systems that require the powers of telepathy to bridge the gap between amplifier and transducer :D

Hi Maks,
What a truly wonderful place you live in! I love the serious thinking 'outside of the box', in an interior design sense, in evidence :respect:
It's certainly rather more inspirational than the bland and boring 'statements of magnolia', totally devoid of imagination, most people in the UK live in!!
Btw, has your XLR plug arrived yet? :)

A lot of people do have the imagination, Marco, just not the money to pay for it! ;)
Sure, Dave, but trust me, as and art dealer/picture framer, and thus someone who's often involved in discussing people's interior design requirements, there are plenty examples of the opposite! ;)

Hey Marco, thanks for your comment mate.
I agree that is not conventional house, but it feels very comfy and warm despite modern design
Oh, still waiting on the cable and XLR, should be here any day tho :)
Nice place Maks very nice....

lol... I thought as much! :)
Actually, yes... I do like them, I'm from Sheffield anyways so I kinda grew up with them and used to visit their studio back in the 90's. Phil is cool!
Yep, I also like Goldfrapp as well as Kraftwerk, a little Eno and Chemical Bros. although they are more dance but there are some great moments in there.
Great pad matey... lot's of fun!
