Sadly he's no longer with us.

I've probably heard the guitar through one of his amps (and owned one) more than any other.

Just heard the news,
Cant beleive he's gone, :( he will be sadly missed, a real pioneer, and innovator of our time.

One of my memories of the past was taking a guitar amp for repair, we were shown around the premises and told they did this to everyone. We got to meet his brother and to top it all they only charged £10 for the repair

The gtr players in my band both use his amps for rehersals... I can imagine how much hearing loss can be attributed...

Well done Sir for powering 99.9% of the metal gigs I'd attended as a youngster.
