Hi, I'm Darren from the UK.

I've been a Hi-fi fan for over 20 years and have owned many pieces of equipment including Sony, Arcam, Musical fidelity, PMC, Perpectual technologies, AVI, Audiolab, Linn, Nordost and Kimber to name just a few.

Hi Darren, a warm welcome to AoS from me :) I always wanted to get a listen to the Perpetual Technologies DAC & upsampler, but never got the chance ;) Actually I'd still like to, but something tells me I wouldn't be looking at purchasing them any more :eyebrows:

So what type or types of music do you listen to on your present equipment? By the way, I reckon you are a music fan as hifi is just a means to an end :D

Thanks for the welcome Mark,

The Perpetual Technologies p1 and p2 were excellent when I purchased them about 11 years ago. Things move on at such a rapid pace that these would be easily beaten now.

As with most music listeners we tend to have a good range of interests. I currently seem to be listening to what i think is more relaxing music. Things like Simone White, Charlene soria and Eva cassidy. I also have Aerosmith, REM, gomez, radiohead, embrace, blur and many others in my collection.
