Before and After - a Quad 303

The final part of my Quad 303 upgrade project. I have upgraded everything in the amp from the power supply to the amplifier boards themselves. This was the final stage, the front panel from Net-Audio series of mods. Makes life so much easier with the RCA interconnects and the on/off switch is a big plus.

Good stuff. i just really wish Dave would have omitted that Voltage selector on the new plate & opted for some internal voltage selection instead....

To be honest, I fancied bypassing it altogether. I could have easily as I had desoldered the thing completely before I discovered how it came apart:doh:
A few instructions would be helpful especially as this is unique to Net Audio. Another minor criticism is the lack of a couple of resistors. You have to re-use the ones in the amp and for the want of a couple of pence I thought this was a false economy. Otherwise the front panel is of exceptional quality, far superior to the original and as I said, a worthwhile upgrade.
