Hi bobbasrah,

You're right, its an TML. To be precise its an untapered offset transmission-line.

The full-range driver in use covers the full audio band. To allow only the low frequencies to radiate from the front port the line is folded, in a way that it has different angles and tube-lengths to provoke reflection phase and amplitude grating for mid-frequencies. As a result I can use less damping material. This kind of folding has been applied for patent.

I thought the Evince looked a very interesting concept when I first came across them. I like the concept a great deal and I like the fact that attention has been given to the visual impact of the loudspeakers.
I was a little surprised by their relatively small size, but then not everyone has the space, nor understanding wife, to accommodate behemoths.
The whole way the transmission line has been developed seems very interesting indeed and I look forward to hearing a pair as soon as possible.
Given my next speakers for the house will be the Autotech Mummy (the wife said they looked like a urinal) i'm sure these would be greeted with open arms!
