I found this site a few months ago I am amazed how many members there are. Anyway a bit about myself I got into hifi about 30 years ago and made all the usual mistakes taking more interest in the looks of the equipment first and the sound secondly, had a lot of nice equipment come in through the front door and a few months later go straight back out. A lot of this was listening to the hifi dealer and not my ears to tell me what sounds good to me.
My equipment as it stands today
McIntosh MC275 power amp McIntosh C220 pre amp, Michell Gyro SE with a Rega RB300 and Sumiko blue point special EVO3 the CD player is a valve MHZS CD88E with an outboard matrix dac Chinese made units it sound nice to my ears anyway the Speakers are a pair of Heed audio envoy’s
The system gives a large open soundstage easy on the ear.
