Flicking through the latest issue of Hi-Fi Choice yesterday and I came across a DAC test. Once again the Beresford 7510 has received another merit, a Hi-Fi Choice Best Buy no less.

Well done Stan. :)

Way hey, another fantastic accolade for the "loons in a shed" brigade :eyebrows:

;)

Keep up the good work, Stan, competing with the 'big boys' and defeating them on price and performance!

Marco.

Yep, Need I have to ask why it is that when the mags give a good review of something close to our hearts we think they're good guys and when they give a good review of something we have no love for they're all corrupt bastards!

Maybe there are other good honest people out there making hifi apart from the loon in his shed:).

Good result Stan, may it bring many more sales for you.:mex:

Stan must have a double page ad coming up next month to get a rave review.

Or something.

Well done Stan, and well-deserved. Wasn't long ago I listened to a Naim CD5i and preferred the Beresford. :)

Enjoying listening to Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf" through your DAC, and a smoke of the obvious. :smoking:

Good workmanship and listening to advise and recommendations from audiophiles with better systems and hearing than me is what did it. I haven't even considered advertising yet.

Well Done Stan.

Word of mouth is Waaaayy better than bought for reviews.

What goes up slowly, comes down slowly, and its taken a while for your Dac to get credible (despite it being VERY so), but now everyone else is catching up.

Good Luck.

I still can't get hold of a copy of HFC. I guess my local outlets haven't yet got stock.
The problem for me is that sales have gone through the roof. I am selling the DACs faster than I can make them. I reckon that by Friday I am going to have to start putting customers on a waiting list of a few days. The Chinese New Year is also coming up, and that is going to interrupt supply as well.
My orders from the continent are now larger than orders from the UK. I got guys buying two or more pieces at a time! Maybe I should increase the price for the continental buyers.

There has been a lot of discussion about the 7510 on the Logitec Squeezebox forum. I imagine that has helped to spread the word. An annoying twerp from the developers loftily stated that it wouldnt improve on the dac in the Squeezebox and if you wanted better quality buy a Transporter (about £1200 I think). Of course he hadnt tried it.......

The dac inside the SB3 in standard form is compromised , for the price you can't complain but as it is the 7510 is going to be better IMO.

I've tried the 7510 with my Duet, not a bad combo for the price
