You probably know these amps already. I purchased them the other side of Xmas, replaced and serviced some parts myself and then sent them into EAR for a complete service overhaul, replaced all the input/output sockets, speaker posts, coupling caps and volume pots on each amp and also had Tim provide a completely new set of all valves for each amp, 4x PL519, 4 x ECC83, 2xECC85 in total. Service cost was £500. I also purchased a NOS quad-matched set of original Tesla (1970's) ECC83 folded getter at £200- after much testing and rolling of input valves. These are in tip top condition and function as monoblock/integrateds with no need for a pre-amp as each amp has its own volume control.
I'm looking for £1500 supplied with the EAR ECC83's or £1600 with the Tesla ECC83's. (This is quite a bit less than they stand me in purchase cost and service fees) All valves have no more than 100 hours on them. These are very heavy so I'd rather deliver or do collection to be honest. You are most welcome to demo them in Sheffield. Current models are over £10k.
