:steam::steam::steam::steam:

what a great thing to wake up to, some low life thought it's ok to go on to my private property in the middle of the night and help them selves to my bike which I use to get to work everyday. Grrrrr, just needed to let off a bit of steam.

Happend to me last summer.
Cycled home that Friday afternoon as my vacation started.
Saturday morning it was gone… I knew that it wasn't some drunken sod trying to walk home during the night…. as it was locked…
Most likely it was halfway to Romania or some other Eastern country.

:( Thats a bummer mate... I've currently got to leave my scott sportster outside a govt building in the city every day. I periodically check on it and it is double locked with 2 x D locks... i figuer the casual thief may look for a softer target.

it is truly a horrible thing to have happen.

Rotten gits, was there any hidden camera's in the location? A friend of mine got her bike stolen and the cheeky swine rode past her house. Fortunately, she contacted the police and they caught the little git. What a complete idiot to ride past her house. She recognised it because she had put some personal bits and pieces on it, Dickhead:lol::lol: I know it's no consolation, but what goes around comes around.

I once had a GT Xizang stolen from one of the uni campus's in Sheffield. It was tricked out to the turn of several grand. How surprised he was to find himself lying on the floor with a Simon shaped fist mark where his nose used to be when he had the misfortune to ride it around the car park at the other campus where I spent most of the week.

Moral of the story: don't go scoping the car park for more bikes to steal on the one you've just stolen.

The police did laugh at him when he tried to do me for assault- surprisingly all of the ten guys who i was stood having a fag with outside at the time saw him fall off the bike due to his own incompetence. Lol, that was when the Police were worth a shit.

I had a bike made for me once out of parts I chose, completely bespoke job it was...
That was nicked from inside the block of flats I lived in at the time... I sorta had the last laugh though as it was broken at the time ... I can't remember what exactly was wrong with it but something was makin the pedals lock or suddenly start spinning ... Can't remember, what ever it was it had taken a chunk out of my leg the week before ... Hopefully it happened to the thief!

I have a comparatively inexpensive specialised now but even that has been targeted ... Thankfully the thief was stupid enough to approach me... The convo went somthing like this
Him: where did you get you bike mate
Me: erm ... A shop...?
Him: ah, I nicked one of them last week thought you might have bought it
Me: erm ... No
Him: you live round here do you?
Me: why would I tell you where I live when you have just told me you steal bikes
Him: Fok you, Yums a fokin con, may (<--Worcester accent)
We then parted company
All that happened on the path right outside my house... I bought an extra lock...

We had a good one on Monday evening.

Doorbell rang about 6-ish and opened it to find all my neighbours out in the street.

Some arsehole and his mate had driven up the road holding a can of spray paint out the window and had put a yellow stripe down the side of at least 15 cars.

Fortunately I use some squirty ProShine Spray and Shine stuff on my car quite often and with a bit more, to just wiped off. Some of my neighbours weren't so lucky.

Bastards. (spray can idiots, not my neighbours)
