Bought it for the technics 1200...arrived quickly.

Just put it on the 301........initial impressions are very good ....tighter punchier and more....... lively.....i think is the right word.

Comparisons are with my "platter matter" from canada....

Sounds like a tamed down version of my glass mat from the 70's ...(cant remember the name but they were much loved).........but without the noise..if that makes sense...;)

Anyhow ....i like it..wasn't what i was expecting in terms of material....thought it would be thicker......but hhaaaaaaaaaayyy....

its an exact..mark 1 though......don't know the difference between the 1 and 11

Bought it a few years back then retired it after about 50 hours..prefered the nagaoka mp11 boron........but that nos stylus .......now gone to an early grave after a little .....erm accident:doh:

The 1200 hasn't arrived.....and i dont think it ever will....(long story)
so......i am using a 1210...that i have ...erm...borrowed..:eyebrows:

Got to go into the loft to get some more bits and pieces....might get time tomorrow...got the arm plate in ...just finding a soldering iron for an earth lead....oh and some wire..:)

Sounding good on the 301 though....just listened to Art Farmer..."Something you Got"....(me missus thinks the first track sounds like the music from... auf wiedersehen pet "That's Livin' Alright'"...:(...awlays annoys me when she says it)

oh .....made a 24/96 needle drop as well for future ref.
