Well I bought my Hanns Acoustic RCM here before Xmas but haven't used it up to today! Don't ask me why but I couldn't quite work up the nerve to use it ... Probably due to the pile of lp's that needed to be cleaned.
I chose an lp of Scriabin piano music to clean which sounded like it had been recorded in a chip shop - just about unplayable. Now I have just the feintist of surface noise on it. Great. I used Art du Son fluid and I think it has done a good job.
One thing that wasn't so good was that I managed to shear off some of the metal on the spindle of the RCM when putting the clamp on - not quite sure what I did wrong! :doh: Oh well, don't think I have destroyed it ...
