FOR SALE:

* Squeezebox Touch
* Mains Cables R Us Linear Power Supply

Never used the touch screen stuff but used Ipeng with my Ipod, basically just put in my rack when I got it and not taken out.
Remote control and all the usual stuff of course.
I'll throw in a v.good 1m Belden 1649a digital coax cable to get you started.

I'm selling it with the PSU detailed here:

and my review thread...

Extremely clean linear supply designed by someone who knows his onions, very good REAL improvement on using the Touch as a digital Source into a Dac.
(Sells for £173 new.)

Sell both together for £255 delivered, prefer not to split thanks but open to sensible offers - dont want to take TOO much of a hit on this one guys, funds needed elsewhere.

also,

* Temple Audio MonoBlock digital power amps
Info here:http://www.templeaudio.net/monoblock.html

MASSIVE bang for buck, fantastic sounding digital power amps.
Worked beautifully in my system feeding my Caiman dac working as a preamp.
Great upgrade for Caiman owners - the Caiman Preamp is VERY good.
Combined with these amps it makes for a helluva amplifier.

Big fans of T-Amps here on AOS, myself included. These are the top of the tree.

Really dont want to let these go but cest la vie...

£250 delivered
(Sell for £338 new)

...thanks for looking.

Not upgrading fella's
Just feeling the pinch work wise and find myself having to take a (temporary) step back from this hifi malarky.
Needs must I guess, having to take care of more fundamental stuff and its the luxuries that need to go.

Sucks big time but cest la vie I guess.

Worse things happen at sea, just one of those things and I'm sure its a temporary blip.

Anyways...
great sounding kit...good prices...roll up roll up

I feel ya... in that situ myself having recently been faced with the option of a big pay cut or the dole! We're it not for that I'd have jumped at your Monoblocks, as a fellow RS3 owner I'm keen to know how they sounded with em.. perhaps not appropriate at the moment tho.

Anyways, hope it works out and you get a good sale.

All the best.

Cheers guys.

Rich,
The mono's really brought out the "oomph" in the RS3's.
One of the guys on here was good enough to let me borrow his Naim Nait 5i v2 and I compared it to a Bantam Gold T-amp I had at the time.
He wanted me to compare teh Bantam against sn "established" amp...

I preferred the Bantam...so did he.
More transparent less hifi. The Naim had grunt to spare compared to the Bantam but the fundamentals didn't seem as good.
The mono's are a step above that, massive bang for buck.
They had the same clarity but brought the low end grunt back.

Fantastic amps worked great with the caiman as a pre.

Sorry to learn about the changing situation. Maybe it's time to think outside the box, like I had to do when I became aware that my former employers were cutting back.

But I hope you don't stop listening to music completely :).

Yep, some out of the box thinking required Stan..
I'm on it.
No no, still got all my music, just a different way of listening to it for a while :)

*NOTE*
Mono amps now reserved and no longer available, thanks.

Really sorry to hear that Gaz, I am also on a much lower wage than around 15 years ago, and have had to take a pay cut on top of that!
I hope you bounce back! (erm....me too if I may be so cheeky!)

Gaz, may I enquire as to the difference in asking price on the Touch and psu? ( £10 less in the tent!!?? :))
