Without knowing what system your using them with I would suggest the Castles will not only sound better but also have better build quality/resale value :)

Out of those two, I'd pick the Castles. The Severn 2 was a nice speaker.

Having looked to see what the Missions are, definitely go with the Castles.

The Missions are budget floorstanders whereas the Castles are proper hifi.

Nooooooooooooo! Wait until something better comes along. I have had various Missions, some are better than others, some are just plain crap (read Volare range here!)

Just perused them, they look Very similar to the old Volare range, of which I had the top model, unfortunately they are very "shouty" which translates as having very very forward mid range. Turn them up more than on a quiet ish setting and they were unpleasant to listen to.

What's your budget?

Acoustic Energy AE109's or the AE120's (even the AE505's or 509's that crop up every so often) would be a better speaker than the Missions every day of the week

I've just sold an immaculate pair of AE109's for £125 inc shipping so they go for not a lot but they're brilliant speakers and very easy to drive :D
