For sale:

Sonifex Redbox RB-DAC1

Sonifex make broadcast equipment, and this DAC has both balanced and unbalanced outputs, and digital in via XLR or coax. There's also a good headphone output. I've only ever used it unbalanced so almost certainly haven't heard it at its best. But it has done me great service upping the quality of a Universal player for CDs, and latterly a Squeezebox Receiver.

Mine was one of a small batch made for a hi-fi dealer without the 19" rack mount front, and with gold plated phonos.

It's a Red Box, not Red Book by Sonifex! I'm sitting in the radio studio looking at another Red Box by them......(And yes, I know you put that further down!) :)
