Thank you, yes i love them and they work so well in my room ... a very natural non-hifi sound that kind of percolates out everywhere. I also love them because they are on catsors and you just wheel them around anywhere you like. No obsessive placement, no sweet spots, no spikes, no stands, no fiddling or worrying ... just fuss free and easily to forget about which for me is the ultimate aim. That said, I have to say that the version 2's are a quantum leap over these version 1's. Both still highly enjoyable and relevant though.

Hi Richard, a quick question for you... Is this going to be a second system or a replacement for the first? Just asking as the Shahinian Obelisks aren't exactly cheap & all I can say is you are a name dropper with the Tron :D

By the way, what exactly is the Tron? Power amp, I honestly haven't a clue, but like the speakers they certainly are not cheap, I know that much :lol:

Hi mark, i dont have a system so will be my one and only main system. I was thinking about cutting some corners here and there but part of me is thinking of just biting the bullet and going the whole hog and then having asystem i can just forget about for many many years to come. The I can just focus on exploring music and buying up new and wonderful vinyl. The obelisks arent too bad secondhand pricewise. I will probably have to upgarde to the mk2's at some point as ive owned them before and know how amaizng they are. The 1's are still very nice though so will be fine for a bit. The tron is a phonostage that I picked up secondhand. I will be needing one and I figured it was well worth a punt as it seems extremely well rated.
