View Full Version : Reference Fidelity Components
Please feel free to browse my website for the complete product list. Please also note that if you can't find what you're looking for there, you can always contact me for a quote on one-off custom built cabling solutions. Prices are very reasonable, starting at around £40 per 1m pair for quality IC's.
I'm also developing new products for the market including a new record stabiliser (800g). This is a high mass sold brass unit, with a mirror polished finish. It is designed to reduce resonance and has two nitrile rubber damping rings fitted to prevent ringing. Prices and availability details will be posted in due course.
For those wanting a great value and exceptional contact cleaner and lube, see the details for my "Planet Protector". This is one of the best value contact cleaners/lubes currently available and is sold in 5ml dropper bottles and comes with full instructions and cotton application buds.
I'm also in discussions with a USA based manufacturer regarding a tonearm safety lift similar to the now sadly defunct AT6006a unit. Price will be around £100 mark and the first units should be availble within a month or so. I will post pictures in due course.
Please PM me if you have any queries on the above or would like a quote for any bespoke cabling solutions.

I thought it might be useful for members if I gave a little background to RFC and what we're all about. Should have put this up front really, but here goes:
Reference Fidelity Components is a small UK based company hand manufacturing cables specifically for the discerning audiophile. I'm the the owner of the company, and have background which includes 25 years spent in the professional engineering field. I'm first and foremost an enthusiast and am passionate about high fidelity playback and the standards needed to achieve that. Those standards are carried over into each and every product. Reference Fidelity Componets' range of meticulously constructed cables include hifi interconnects, digital interconnect and power cables suitable for use in the most revealing of systems and are sure to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding of hifi enthusiasts. I am also a hifi reviewer and contribute regular articles to another on-line hifi resource.
RFC’s “Fidelity” range of cables offers unrivaled quality at a price that is accessible to the budget conscious audiophile, whilst our “Reference” series sources the very best available materials ensuring the highest level of performance, pride of ownership and, above all sonic excellence. Every component offered is assembled with great care and all soldered joints are made to exceptional standards using only Cardas Quad Eutectic silver solder. You can be assured of quality when you buy from Reference Fidelity Components and we pride ourselves in standards of customer service which we believe are second to none.
Our range of cables is small and we like to think perfectly formed, but for those requiring something a little different our bespoke cable making service will design and construct your cable to your own exacting standards, which when allied with our painstaking attention to detail will give you a product that is truly world class.
We also stock speaker cable. At the moment, we are offering the excellent (and refreshingly "Foo-free") award winning Talk3 'speaker cable in a variety of terminated lengths.
One thing you will hopefully notice about RFC and it's products are that we do not sell on unsubstantiated subjective marketing claims; we sell products which are high quality and sensibly engineered at very sensible and affordable prices, especially bearing in mind the custom nature of the production for which attention to detail and great pains are taken to ensure top quality and consistency.
So what’s in a cable?
More importantly, what do you need to know in order to make an informed choice? Some basic information has been provided under “Design of Interconnects (http://referencefidelitycomponents.co.uk/design-of-interconnects/)” to assist you with your choice. This is seldom done by manufacturers, but is important for those who want to know the difference between cable types and assemblies.
RFC also sells accessories such as its contact cleaner and lube and will expanding its range of accessories soon with the products mentioned earlier in this thread.
I am more than happy to give system advice to customers, particularly where cable choice is concerned as I'm aware that many people can find it a little bewildering with the many choices and budgets available, and quite often if a cable upgrade is not what you need, I am honest enough to say so, even if that means doing RFC out of business!
In a nutshell: Honesty, great high quality products, no "foo", and excellent customer service. I am always available to answer any queries you may have and I don't bite, so please don't hesitate to contact me should you have a query or need a quote. It will cost you nothing and may save you a packet!

Yep, I've been using some hyperlitz-braided cables from Paul for months now - very nice, clear and dynamic sound. ... very flexible and not very expensive either! ;)
