I'm having a clearout and all I ask is that you pay for delivery or collect yourself.

If you look on the Gallery you will see 2 TT of mine:

Modified Pro-Ject Debut. This has a 20mm thick glass platter and is in good condition. It has a DIY tonearm that actually not bad, it just doesn't have a queing mechanism so you have to finger cue. I also have the 16VAC power supply also.

Dual DD TT - TAKEN

3 2U 19" beige rackmount enclosures with brushed Alu fronts. 2 have had some holes drilled in them for sockets, nothing major. One is the best part of a transport made from a CD rom, the other was the makings of a DAC. It can all be taken out leaving 2 very good cases. the 3rd one is untouched!

A TDA1541 chip from a Marantz CD94 TAKEN

4 TDA1543 chips

Various other bits and pieces TAKEN

I also have the best part of a desktop PC, all that is needed is a case and monitor, maybe a KB. Pretty much everything else is there including a wireless mouse, USB ADSL modem or 2!.

News Flash!!!

I do have a spare keyboard for the PC.

I have a relay switched input board from a WD88VA (same as used on the Pre3) if anyone wants it.

A TDA1541 chip from a Marantz CD94

Various other bits and pieces like high capaicty PSU capacitors, Heatsinks, PSU Transformers, etc that if any collects something they are welcome to sift through it and take anything they want.

Hi Paul, I'd be interested in any/all of the above please. More than happy to pay for the postage.

:) :) :)

I am so tempted as far as your TT's are concerned, but no room here unfortunately :( I would not be popular for taking on yet more gear :steam: I hope that someone else can give them a good home. I ought to get my old Pro-Jekt Debut TT out for a fiddle. It worked last time I put it away. Since I've learnt more about TT earthing etc with the Lenco I might be able to get it running a bit better. It might make a fun deck for messing about with...

Fraser,

The Dual is very heavy due to all the concreate in it so the Project is you best bet. I'v also just found the manual for it in loft today :).

The deck will probably cost under £15 to send I will confirm week begining the 5th Jan, when I'm back at work and can pack it properly. All thats needed is a cartridge but I think there is the body of a Goldring on it so if so just the stylus is needed.

I used the deck for many years abeit with a rega arm with great results. Even my friend with a Gyro/Zeta said it sounded great and he's normally quite honest about my stuff.

Neil,

Unfortunately Mike got in first with the TDA1541.

Steve,

I will take some pis tomorrow.

The PC is sans case, memory & leads but everything else is there.

I will make a note of the models numbers and revert back to you.

I do know the motherboard is old but it was given to me by a friend who's into gaming so its probably just as good as a modern home PC. It takes PC133 or the first generation DDR memory.

I vaguely remember the 2 HD's being faulty, they are around 40 - 80gb but even so you can pic these up really cheap.

E buyer & Ebay are great sources for bits and pieces.

Hi there,

I have some old bits, being into building the things, but am in need of some stuff like mobo's for a cheap music build based on Linux or this,

Here's the pics
Any questions just ask. There is also a plinth with adjustable feet for leveling if anyone wants it.
1 case has a CD transport in it. Its almost finished and needs play/stop & Skip buttons tapped into the buttons on the CD mech and sockets and the top finished.

Oh and I do have some ATA leads and a TV card with remote as well.

The 80gb disc is defo good the other 2 apparently need to be completely wiped with the manf. disk ultilies which is usually dome by booting up with floppys or CD and running the ultil.

Paul,

I can't believe your Dual TT hasn't found a home yet. Surely someone out there could use it, maybe as a deck for a friend starting out on a vinyl adventure...

Hope you don't mind me reposting some of the pictures you put up in the Gallery a while back. Maybe it'll spark some interest :)

Good luck.
