Hi folks !

I'm Linux, Macintosh, IT specialist, and I'm very glad to join The Art of Sound community.

DIY electronics is my passion since I discovered junk yard when was 12. It shifted to computers and software for quite long time, and then returned back (childhood nostalgia may be ?) with obsession toward vacuum tube amplifiers.

My recent projects (along with everyday work & sexual adventures):
* Heating/ventilation/climate control based on Linux/LUA programmable KNX controller for office building
* 6550/KT88/KT120 push-pull amplifier inspired by legendary Sansui AU-111, made with toroidal output transformer of my own design. Lead to a short dive into Python. Waiting for good casework.

Current projects:
* Project lead - development of CRM/stock control system - another adventure into the long forgotten hell.
* Linux based media center with high-end DAC.

Hi Andrei, I guess it'd be rude not to say hello after asking you to post in the welcome section after you have done so, so a warm welcome to AoS from me :)

You'd better watch out with that online name of yours as there a quite a few guys into streaming audio with Linux :eyebrows: Hopefully you can participate on those threads & be of help :)

Hi Andrei, welcome to AoS :)

An amp inspired by the Sansui AU-111 has got to be interesting. My (loose) connection with them is my superb Hashimoto step-up transformer.
