AN Affair of the Heart - Audio Note AN-e/LX

This is a great "review" of Audio Note AN-e/LX Loudspeakers (http://hifipig.com/an-affair-of-the-heart-audio-note-an-elx/) by Hifi Pigs new recruit Jake - gets right to the heart of why we love hifi. There's no photos yet but I thought it such a good read i wanted to share it.

I first heard Audio Note AN/E's at Zen Audio in Hull back in the nineties and that midrange was to die for. I later bought a pair of AZ/2's to get some of what the E's had to offer and thought that the AZ/2's were very similar and had a truly gorgeous midrange with my EL34 single ended amp but alas, my finances crashed and I had to sell the lot. I am still trying to get back there and maybe one day I shall arrive; who knows...?

Every time l have heard Audionote systems at shows( which normally include E's) the musicality and emotion have been of the highest order- not hifi but music, rate very highly these speakers:cool:

Come on chaps get bidding on this exclusive bit of hifi history -money goes to charity. It was gonna go to the Musicians Benevolent fund but they got all precious and poncey when i called them so they can stuff. I'm open to ideas on the chariddy by the way.
