They generally go for decent money, not top prices. Expect an EMT 950 to fetch 1.8 to 2.5k depending on what comes with it. I suspect, based on having watched all the previous BBC auctions that the damaged deck will go for considerably less.

No. They're very old, and whilst the DXC3000s are bulletproof, they're standard definition and 4:3 to boot. Only the digibeta would be worth anything today, and that would need a lens, batteries etc.

The decks and the dats are worth chasing, little else.
