WTB: Pair of ECC83´s

Hi,

I´ve established a need for a pair of ECC83´s.

Usually fond of Mullards, obviously those would be the ticket. I like others as well (Valvo Hamburg, Mazda etc.) I´m very open to suggestions, if you have additional experience.

I like a warm and organic tone, nice slam in the lower registers and a not too sparkling end extended top end.

I have a rather nice 1960s Mazda-branded Mullard (made in Holland), which fits your description perfectly. PM me, if you're interested, and I'll do you a good deal :)

If you like it, there's a good chance I'll have another one to match soon - if I like the CV4035s, coming from The Monger (which I'm sure I will) :cool:

I may have. I've got some ECC83s to sell, but I have to sort through the ones I'm keeping, and ones I'm not. I'll be doing that soon, and will let you know :)

Oh, but you will - almost had a seizure when I got mine !

The Monger is a fantastic shop, really good service and quality. Not the cheapest, but surely one of the best.

Have you dealt with TC Tubes by any chance ? They are also highly recommendable :eek:
