Hiya, this is Ben from China.
I'm not sure whether I'm an audiophile fan or so, but I don't think good sounds would be rejected. The first Hifi encouter happened 20 years ago when father brought back a whole set of tube something...

I like classical music has devoted somehow too much on the collection of it. I'm particular into historical vocal recordings. Claudia Muzio, Ezio Pinza, Beniamino Gigli...are all my music mentor, though timely and spatially distanced.

The set I am applying to are Harbeth P3ESR, Soulnote CD Player, LFD LS1/PA1 Amps, Yamaha D9 Turntable with an unrecognized ortofon cartridge, Project and a DIY phono; also, Sony MDR SA5000 and Beyerdynamic DT1350 headphones, YBA WD202 DAC; Ecosse Maestro & Nordost Heimdall interconnects, Ocos and and a pair of DIY WE speaker cables.

It's a great pleasure seeing such user-friendly and informative platform for music and audiophile communication.:):)

Hi Ben, a warm welcome to AoS from me :) I don't think you'll find we are all audiophiles by any stretch of the imagination, we just like to get the best out of what we have I think you find ;)

Looks like you have a similar wall to me, covered in racks & full of discs :D

Hello Martin, except for the LFD stuffs, they are all available here, but if you want a high-quality turntable, you'll have to pay more than you get in UK or the states.

Haha, I buy cds and vinyls wherever I go...Fortunately, it's much easier buying this kind of things now in China. Some years ago, we've got to order rare stuffs from hmv.co.jp or ebay, the shipment was usually more expensive than the cds themselves.:lol:

Hi, Alex!
I also used exactly the same Marantz Signature SACD player for the past few years. :)
