I'm Steve and I live in Wokingham.

My system is Garrard 301 with SME 3009 S2, CD player is a Rega Saturn, pre amp is a Meridian 200 series, power amps are a pair of Quad IIs and speakers are Rogers LS3/5A.

Back when vinyl died I threw away my turntable and all of my LPs. Then a couple of years ago I thought it would be nice to keeping getting out of my seat and turn the music over, nice not to be able to skip tracks from my arm chair or programme a running order. So, I bought a Thorens TD125 MkI and an SME 3009 S2 improved arm and built a plinth. The passion for vinyl was reborn.

My musical taste is varied - Rock, blues, female vocals. Favoutie bands are Led Zep and Pink Floyd. Favourite classical piece is Rachmaninov 3.

I love cycling, walking, fishing, reading and surfing (the net, that is).

I very much look forward to getting to know you.

Sorry Steve - there's a bit of a standing joke on the forum about my curtains - and usually a jibe or two about my fondness for lilac - so I do get excited about new member's soft furnishings!

Please don't let us put you off the forum, we are completely mad, obviously, but relatively harmless with the right medication. :eyebrows:
