I have been working abroad, so all my stuff is in storage - including my audio gear. I am back in the UK for the moment to sort out my late father's Estate (I am a Tax Consultant by profession).
I am currently using a Mac laptop with AKG 701 headphones to listen to my music - via iTunes until a a couple months back when I came across Audirvana Plus. I have various budget DACs/headphone amps from the Fiio range which seem better than the Mac's soundcard.
My main gear is based around a pair of John Bowers Active 1, Burmeister pre-amp, SqueezeBox, and various DACs whose names escape me, but does include a very early Stan Beresford DAC. I had a Linn turnable when I listened to vinyl - all sold many years ago.
Musical taste is mainly folk orientated - I am listening to Leonard Cohen as I type - Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Mary Black. Plus the Beatles, the Stones, the Eagles, Adele, Springsteen, Bryan Ferry etc etc. Some classical also.
