May in Paris

My wife and I have rented an apartment in Paris for the month of May. We intend to spend the month pretending as if we live in Paris, trying to experience how would it feel if indeed we moved there.

My wife is crazy about art, galleries, museums, and so on. I'm thinking if I get to the point where I OD on art and architecture, I should find some enjoyable ways of killing time while she continues studying art and history. So my question is: are there any good hi fi stores in Paris that someone could recommend? Also, any good music venues? I love live music, in particular world and experimental music, so I'm hoping Paris will have something to offer in the month of May.

I loved Paris. Check out the catacombs as well as The Dali Museum. I stayed in Montmarte which is lovely. Also you have to go here...

Nooo!. Most of Brussels is nice. I'd avoid Anderlecht and Vorst though, as that's a bit rough. Otherwise, it's lovely. I love Sint Pieters Wolouwe. Very tree-lined. Oh, and the bit by the old RTBF building.
