Hi all,

I have a few things for sale:

Here are my handbuilt brass EL84 Monoblocks. I built these in January 2012, so are only just run in. They are basically WD Kel84 but with EZ81 tube rectification and better transformers and chokes. Being monoblock also improves things no end.
I have used top quality parts in these eg. Mundorf Supreme coulping capacitors, Mundorf Polypropylene power supply capacitors and Kiwame resistors from Japan thoughout. Silver mica capacitors in filter networks. The transformers/chokes come from VVT transformers on the Isle of Wight.
The chassis is 14 gauge brass with solid beech side cheeks. Mullard Nos ECF80 and EZ81 with Nos Russian El84M valves.

Next is my Arcam Rdac with Maplins linear power supply (upgrade over supplied switcher)
Only three months old in mint condition.

Last is a Handbuilt Passive preamp (works very well with the monoblocks). It uses the most excellent Seiden 23 way switch with Takman 0.5W metal film resistors, I have replaced the Takman resistor used in series with a Kiwame which I prefered the sound of.
Two sets of phono inputs with selector switch at rear, one set of outputs.
Machined billet Aluminium front with two solid brass bars along the bottom to add weight, 3mm aluminium back plate. Solid brass knob.

Sounds intriguing - good luck with it. Glad you're keeping your speakers, though. I'd be loath to let them go, if I were you! ;)
