Appeal for help to cover Scalford Show Sunday 4th March 2012 and Audio World 2012

Sadly this year the number of shows I can afford to cover for AIHFA is down to one. With the magazine being a non commercial venture, and all costs coming out of my pocket and the only solution re paying for covering/attending shows would be to include advertising. This is not a path I am prepared to travel down, so this year I have had to look long and hard at my costs and one of the shows I have been covering in the past has had to be dropped.

I am hopeful that some of the members of AOS might be prepared to cover these shows for the magazine, either as a photo only report or with text as well. I realise this is a big ask as I know only to well how much work goes into doing show reports and it would be on a voluntary basis much as posting on AOS is.

It would be a shame if AIHFA was not able to cover, in some shape or form, these shows; so in order to do that I am appealing for help. So if you fancy seeing your name against an article on AIHFA send me a pm or email and we can chat about it.

That would be great, thank you very much.

The more the merrier though, as such a large show lends itself to missing stuff out, so the more photographers the less chance there is of missing anything.

On average for a show like Whittelbury I have in the past taken between 500 to 600 photos in an attempt to document everything. My ideal re show reports has always been to offer AIHFA readers a virtual tour of the whole event; not a 'snap shot' as other titles offer.
