Anybody had any dealings with this outfit or is it snakeoil.

I've bought some oil off them in the past. Happy with it.

I have looked at their Thorens upgrade packages in the past and they seem reasonable for the money.

I have an Srm Athena turntable and have received nothing but great service from Stuart at SRM. I can't comment on his upgrade kits but I can say he's a decent bloke to deal with and im sure he would be more than happy to have a chat with you if you rang him.

I bought various bits to upgrade a Rega Planar 2 a few years ago. Very worthwhile upgrades at good prices. Recommended.

Must say his turntables look very good for the money,especially the less expensive ones.
If I were looking for a modern tt I would definately be considering one of these.

I bought one of the first Arezzo turntables years ago (No 10 or 11) and then bought the two upgrades to take it to Ultra level.

Exceptionally happy with the service and also met Stuart at the first Scalford show when I told him I would be exhibiting the Arezzo Ultra as part of my set-up. Thoroughly nice fellow. ( Him, not me :D )

I bought the SRM acrylic base for the LP12. A _serious_ improvement in terms of tightening up the bass and improving micro-detail retrieval.

That's good to know. I've ordered a couple for my two Technics linear trackers - one a custom size, cut down to fit the SL7. They were ordered at different times and I paid shipping on each order, but when Stuart saw that I'd ordered two he refunded one of the shipping costs, when I wasn't asking him to, or expecting it. So top marks here. :)
