Hello There!,

I'm Ashley (Male), 21 years old from Singapore
Just completed my 2 year of army service and just moved back to NZ for my University studies.

I'm just starting to appreciate hifi audio as my dad has been dedicated to audio equipment all his life.. And so I guess it just runs in the blood!

Audio equipment
Currently own absolutely no Hi-fi Equipment..
Only equipped with with my iPhone 4 and a pair of Audio Technica CKM-55 In-ears.

Im sure the equipment will rack up own I actually start earning an income..

Music Interests
I'm a fan of almost every kind of music mainly rock/house/pop/country/jazz but if my age is any indication, more on pop/house music..

Other Interests
Well again at my age.. typical Gaming, computer building, circuitry ,cycling & whatever normal 21 year olds do :)

AoS seems like a warm & welcoming forum & I look very much forward to learning from all of you about everything on Audio!

Thanks,
Ashley

Welcome to the club. Although you have no kit right now, is there anything you aspire to own?

Thanks for the welcome!

D= Daleks. Please dont Exterminate me.

Well what brought me here was I was recommended getting a Beresford DAC, so I searched around and saw that Stan was a avid member in this forum..

So I'm planning within this year to grab one of his Caimans, and maybe get a pair of KRK Rokit RP6 G2 Monitors.
I do some mixing in my free time and I heard that those are the best bang for buck when it comes to accuracy and doesnt make music sound unexciting.

Also grab a pair of AKG K701's.. as my dad has a pair too and they're fabulous!
