A new service offered in conjunction with my southern division based in Fulham, London. If you don't have time or do not want to go to the expense of a record cleaning machine or if your treasured LP is warped then read on.

A vinyl restoration service which is varied in scope but offering all the essential services to keep your vinyl in tip top condition. From a simple clean using a Glass Audio professional RCM which cleans both sides at once to a full restoration which is a clean followed by 3 hours in the Furutech LP flattener and finally demagnetization in the Furutech Demag.

Sounds great. Only vinyl is supposed to be non-magnetic. Can you explain as I'm puzzled?

I've often wondered if it would be profitable for someone to offer the weekly rental of a RCM. I know the carriage costs would be horrendous but anyone with a fair number of records to clean might find it more cost effective to pay the carriage and rental costs rather than say, pay £200 + P&P just to have 50 records cleaned. I suspect there might be a particular number of records to be cleaned above which renting the RCM might be cheaper.
There must be lots of vynilophiles who would love to clean their record collection but cannot justify the expense of their own RCM.
Any thoughts?

My local Dealer (Signals) do exactly that or you can have them clean for you.

I really don't understand this. Some spend 100's, 1000's on equipment and vinyl, but won't spend a few hundred on the one thing that will help keep their Vinyls in tip top condition.... strange. :eek:

This is not aimed at anyone. Just my opinion. :rolleyes:

Weirdly since having 2 kids (no me personally cos I aint got the plumbing) I can't keep my vinyl clean at all... Every time I play a cleaned LP the sylus looks like a hair ball by half way through.

I need an RCM but I need a very... very quiet one.

Part of the reason I now sell Okki Nokki instead of Moth was NOISE!

People complained the Moth was too noisy, the Okki Nokki is very quiet indeed and costs less!
