View Full Version : SPDIF output from acer aspire windows 7 laptop

My laptop has a headphone out that also doubles up as a SPDIF out
I can get the headphone socket to music but cannot get the SPDIF output I have a adapter for the headphone soclet and looked on the net for solutions but so far no joy anyone know how to get over this issue

Go to:
Control Panel -> Hardware & Sound -> Sound -> Manage Audio Devices -> Playback

You should see all possible audio devices listed there.

Right click on the one that is not USB or the inbuilt speakers. Select the "Use this device" option.

By the way, any idea when I'll see you next, or have you emigrated ;)?

Bring one or two of your reference CD and have a listen to the Bushmaster through any of my headphones if you got time :).
