Hi everyone!

I just joined AoS yesterday - really like the camaraderie in this forum.

Guess a short description of my hifi system is in order:-

Analogue

I have 2 analogue rigs:-

1. Technics 1210M5G with KAB PS1200GX power supply / SX1200 strobe disabler, Mike New bearing, Oyaide STB-MS centre weight, Oyaide MJ-12 turntable mat. A Clearaudio Maestro Wood MM cartridge is mounted on this rig. Currently waiting for my Pete Riggle Woody custom tonearm and Mike New ETP platter.

The signal from the Technics goes straight into the AD-20 option board of my Accuphase E-460 integrated amp.

2. Kuzma Reference TT with Kuzma 4-point tonearm. Lyra Kleos MC cartridge mounted on this rig. The Kuzma is paired with the Whest 30RDT SE phonostage.

Both analogue rigs are plugged into the same system. So I have 1 DD and 1 belt-drive TT, and 1 MM and 1 MC cartridge...

Digital

I use a Marantz KI-Pearl SACD player to play my CDs, but I think it's quite clear that I'm an analogue fan... :mental:

Amplifier

Accuphase E-460 integrated.

Speakers

Harbeth SHL-5 30th Anniversary Special Edition in Rosewood

Cables

Telos Black Reference power cords and interconnects

I'll post pics of my system soon.

I also listen to music through headphones - I've some nice Grado headphones e.g. HF-1, HF-2, PS-1. These are plugged into a Mapletree Ear+ HD tube headphone amplifier.

Music: I listen to almost everything, but have a strong preference for 80s/90s rock/metal music e.g. Guns & Roses, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Poison etc. I listen to Jazz music/female vocals when I want to relax.

Non-audio interests include cycling (I've a Pinarello Dogma bicycle) and photography (more like photo equipment collecting ).

I'm very happy to be on this forum and I hope to learn more from you guys, especially on modifying my Technics.

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the forum! I have been a lot to Singapore work wise. Your system should cover you very well in the analogue department, and I guess that Techie sounds great. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

@Jostber: Techie sounds good now, especially since I installed the Mike New bearing on Saturday. Very surprised at the extent of the improvement.

And so happy in fact that I ordered Mike's ETP platter today. Can't wait for the platter and the Woody tonearm!

Thanks Alex.

I see you have a Marantz KI Signature SACD player. Those Ken Ishiwata players sure sound sweet eh?!

Not as good as yours, but I really like them (this is my third KI player) though I'm mainly playing files these days...
