Hmm. :hmm: I'm not sure is this belongs in the "Strokes of Genius" forum or not.

Anyone tried this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320833342705?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 ?

I got one a couple of weeks back and have been using it.

Whether it does the job as advertised I have no idea. My stylus certainly looks clean enough.

Any views?

Does your stylus look clean, and a bit lower surface noise Jerry?

Hmm, yes, Andy, now I come to look at it in the bright sunshine, both stylus and cantilever look immaculate! :stalks:

Maybe these guys are on to something after all?

Lower surface noise? mmm, not sure! It's no worse than before ...

Interesting to see that the price of entry to these is now much reduced over the £30 or £40 it used to be. My own version of this is the 'Sticky Hands' they do the exact same job, safely & effectively - £1.13 for 12

I use the magic eraser trick and have been doing so for years, takes a bit of practice though to really clean an old grunged up stylus, but great if you start off with a new one....just take care

Magic Eraser user here too, but the VP does look interesting though.

I've got one of those VP things. Seems to work quite well.

Would you mind telling me where you get them from Chris as I can only find US sellers on the bay of fleas.
Thanks.

I bought mine from US a seller the postage is minimal because they hardly weigh anything. I bought 12 about 4 or 5 yrs ago & gave away most of them to fellow AoS'ers. I'm on my second one now! Although I do also use Magic Eraser & an AT electronic cleaner too.

Try this guy (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-Sticky-Hands-7-5-Party-Favors-Fun-Parties-Wholesale-/260688429426?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cb23dc172#ht_1681wt_905) - £1.13 + £3.52 international postage.
