I am glad to share with everyone my newfound lightweight, no frills, all in one set up that is great at playing both music and video on Win machines.
Guilty Parties
a) Player - Media Player Classic Home Cinema http://www.xvidvideo.ru/component/docman/doc_download/8613-media-player-classic-homecinema-x86-1614081-be-mod-with-installer.html
b) Audio Renderer - ReClock http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupReClock1877.exe
c) Codec - madFLAC http://madshi.net/madFlac.rar
Install all the 3 components.
ReClock
- ReClock Configuration : Select WASAPI exclusive and the correct DAC to be used with ReClock
MPC HC
- Open MPC HC Options menu, select ReClock as the Audio Renderer.
- Add madFLAC as the decoder in Options-->External Filters. You guys might want to refer to this link for pictorial guides. http://haruhichan.com/wpblog/?p=263
We're good to go.
