just brought a hadcock gh228 9" arm anyone tried this on a 1210 yet, just waiting on arm board then will write what I think and pictures.

It sounded a treat on the 1210's distant ancestor, the SL150, so there shouldn't be any issues whatsoever, as the Nima apparently works well too as long as the low-slung counterweight doesn't foul.

I had one on my old 1210. Worked a treat. Got an SME armboard from Sound Supports as the Hadcock came with an SME adaptor.
The Hadcock is now going on my SP-10. Lovely arm for the money. Not the easiest arm to set up but they sound bloody good with the right cartridge.

What cartridge do you suggest have a Dv karat and dennon 103 but im open to other suggestions

Go with the Karat.

Go with the Karat and save for a London Decca-Super-Gold-in-a-pod.. Hadcocks LOVE Decca's and always have :)

Hi just for informatuion, back in the day I worked for JVC another part of the Matushita empire. Our version ofthe top DD/TT was the QL10. I used a Hadcock plus Decca London on that and it just sang.
