Hi everyone. I stumbled upon this community earlier when I was looking for some information on Arcam amps.
I have a small music system in a big room (hence problem). I listen to jazz, rock and folk, with some classical music thrown in now and then.
My system is currently composed of an Arcam A18, paired with a set of B&W 683's and a new REL T9 subwoofer. The source is a Mac Mini sound system feeding into an Arcam rDAC.
thanks and look forward to interacting with the community.
David
Welcome to this forum! A lot of great audio knowledge and enthusiasm here.
Welcome, and I love your avatar. Never owned an '02, but I've had and have a stable full of others.
Hi David, and welcome. :)
Hello and welcome from a fellow Arcam fan, currently using a Solo Neo with Rega RS3s, a nice combo i find... currently reviewing options for power amps when time and money allows.
I find arcam amps are an acquired taste, not forward enough for some folks but i like em...

I've been hankering after an '02 recently... would be happy with a 1502 or 1602 though. Would have to be a lowered boy-racer machine and not an old-man chromed up, side-bumpered one.
An interesting factoid: In the turbo era F1 cars of the early 80s, BMW selected 100k+ mile 1502 engine blocks as a start for their 1000bhp monster engines! The design of the block was indestructable (well, I bet they did destroy a few) and the 100k mile run-in ensured all weaknesses had been guarded against - a seasoned engine block.
Hi David and welcome to AoS. Another Beemer fan here ;)
Been a while since David was with us, but you never know!
I hadn't noticed. Was it something we said?
Well for once it wasn't something I said!
