Rogers Cadet III power amplifier. Bought back in the early 1990s and fully rebuilt (then) to its original specification. Complete with four nice Mazda ECL86 valves developing 8W per channel.
It has a liquid midrange coupled with more bass than it has any right to produce. Lovely, slightly dark, soundstage and really very good sound within its low power envelope. Saying that, it goes louder than expected. Great for a small system with efficient speakers or a near-field computer setup.
Tested working in my system today, as in the photo. Some scratches to the paintwork and needs a clean.
