Lol - and this of course is a pic of my preamp :eyebrows:

So what's the plan then, Dunc - are you gonna build one? I know you liked it when you heard it yesterday! :)

I've already used it in a couple of dac output stages ( not with the 6SL7 ), unaware that Glen had used it in the Charisma.

Might knock one up with the 6SL7,
It's the valve regulated power supply which holds more interest.

spot those fancy Charcroft Z-foil bulk resistors

Ah, I didn't know that.... You should defo try one with 6SL7s.

So is that what the ECC83 and 85A2 voltage stabiliser do, or which part of the circuit are you referring to?

Jeez - I didn't even realise that I had them in there!! :eyebrows:

Glenn must've put those in, because no-one else has... They look as if they're on the phono stage section.

Wonder what it would be like if they were in the line stage, too? :)

Well, only one way to find out.
I've ordered some to try as the series resistor in my Seiden stepped attenuator.

Ok, let me know what you think, and if you rate them, I'll get some :)

Oh, I meant to ask, do you know what the right values are now to put in my amp (re: your PM earlier)?

Marco.
