Due to my forthcoming wedding I need to release some funds and I'm starting with one of my four turntables!

Up for sale is a Trio KD550 direct drive deck with Corian plinth, Kenwood arm and Ortofon cartridge with f/ff stylus. It also comes with its original perspex hinged lid.

This is as "plug and play" as it gets and a great entry in to the world of vinyl. The deck has worked faultlessly and continues to do so. There are some scratches to the lid as you would expect and I believe that they can easily be removed. There is also small ding to the Corian on the front right corner. This is not visible unless you're close up but it should be mentioned.

I am looking for £250.

Absolutely fab turntable this, folks - a real giant killer (WAY better than a stock SL-1200, for example, and with a tonearm at least as good as a Jelco 750)... So some lucky person should snap it up quick!! This is a SERIOUS bargain.

Good luck with the sale, Geoff. Whoever buys your T/T is in for a real treat - oh and many happy returns when the big day comes!

Marco.

I've posted the last one as a close up of the "ding" issue

Do we not currently have a member looking for a plug & play TT for around £250?
I'm sure I saw a thread recently....

If I hadn't just bought a Sony PS6750 I'd have snapped this up. Absolutely gorgeous. :)

I haven't got it yet Geoff! :D

Should have the Sony tomorrow where it'll be going up against my (mildly) modded Tecchy. :)

Enjoy it. I'd like to hear a modded technics though perhaps I should have other priorities at the mo! After all, a 401,td125 and g99 should be enough really. Should it? I'm not sure, perhaps...........

Well, congrats to Terry! These are branded Kenwood here in Sweden and a friend who i am visiting within a few minutes have one similarly looking.

Great turntable in my opinion, especilly the tone arm seems very well made!:)
