Well, my tonearm rebuild is coming along nicely but I need a cable. I have looked at this one and it would fit the bill:

My problem is that the cable needs to be two metres long to fit the setup properly. I was wondering is there anyone here in the UK who would supply such a cable?

I think you have a few people who could perhaps help
Trans Fi
Northwest Analogue
and perhaps Audio Orgami

Not only that but he has also told me he would charge me an extra fiver to make it up to the size I want:)

The thing is, fifty quid is not pocket change and some of the quality on ebay is not always "as described". I am not for one second suggesting this is the case with this seller and in fact I think he is very genuine. What I am asking though (not knowing) is 'what are the alternatives' ?
Besides, if I have a choice I can agonise over the purchase that little bit longer:lol:

Graham,a word of advise.2m a tonearm cable is too much.1m to 1.2m is the normal, max 1.5m,but 2m ?You are asking for trouble, buddy.Remember, the analoque signal is too delicate :)

Unless you can remodel my house - that's what I have:rolleyes: I am going to carefully measure it and I think I can get away with 1.7 metres. I am (painfully?) aware of VD and it is something that I want to avoid at all costs:lol:

Okay, I got off my arse and measured it and 1.4 metres will do it!
