Hi everyone,
Thought I’d say hello. Long term music lover, wide tastes. Still run vinyl, along with CD and Apple iPod/AAC, so embracing the new without turning out the old! Although I did get shot of my Cassettes some years ago…not much of a box swapper now, happy with the kit i have and have trimmed down a little over time
System (long term):
Vinyl: Heavily modded Rega 3/RB300/Audio Technica F5/OCC Moving Coil cart. Mods by CS audio suspension deck, acrylic platter, Origin live arm mods, Manticore main bearing, Cardas/Van den Hul arm rewire, Moth external PSU...not much Rega left, just the motor I think
CD: Copland CDA822, no mods
Amp: Copland CSA 14 Valve/transistor hybrid, no mods with separate MC step-up
Speakers: Sonus Faber Concertino on ironwood stands
Cables: Nordost interconnects, Kimber 8TC speaker wire
iPod: Pure i-20 Dock with 24/192 DAC
