Sorry to ask, but is there something wrong with what you have already?

I'm not a huge fan of tube rolling Jan (not saying there's anything wrong with it, just sends me quite mad !). I have tried the TJFM 12AX7 but only in my Leak 20 and ended up preferring Mullards.

The thing is it's so difficult to give a useful view on valve types, there are so many variables from your own personal taste to whatever application you're trying whichever valves in.

The best advice I can give is to try for yourself - but as you know, it's a costly part of the hobby that can be quite frustrating.
